Will you move back to weekly performance updates now that you are actively trading and again and using options?
I moved to bi-weekly and posted this weekend. Now, I checked AND IT DIDN'T POST!!!!
It's saved but now is outdated
I do agree that I need to find a compromise between regular updates and something that can track the changes as we go along.
Suggestions?
Since you're trying to demonstrate the value of active trading, an update each time the portfolio changes seems appropriate. Don't know how much work it is for you to do an update, but there are a number of shareware Excel plugins that can automatically grab quotes from sources like Yahoo.
Also, would be interesting to see how your performance compares to the indices with dividends factored in. Given the multi-year timeframe it's starting to become material.
