LiveRocket - Year in Review
After 1 year, we achieved the following returns:
LiveRocket - 34.3%
DJIA - 17.3%
S&P - 14.9%
NASDAQ - 12.8%
Our portfolio consists of exactly 1 stock: 500 shares of ILMN.
I started the year feeling very gung ho. The economy was strong and I felt that it would only get stronger.
I am ending the year feeling less excited. I see an economy running more on fumes. I see near-term shocks from consumer exhaustion and from the housing construction collapse. I see inflation pressures.
In other words - I am getting ready for a shift in stock selection. Please see my next posting

Hi.
I started following LR the
week of May 19-25 of 2006.
I followed LR as best I could,
but sometimes I'd buy/sell at
a different price point, or even
miss a stop (though not too often).
As a result, today I own only
AET and GRP. AET is up ~11%
and GRP is up just over 1%.
Overall, my attempt at following
the LR portfolio is at -4.5%,
while for the same period the
DOW, S&P, and NASDAQ are
+10%, +10% and +12%, respectively.
Ed. note: feel free to
withhold this from the LR blog
page, or edit it as you see fit.
I only wanted to provide it as
a possible datapoint. I respect
what you are doing with LR and I
commend you on the performance
level you have achieved, although
I'm not sure I'll be continuing to
track the portfolio moving forward.
Best of luck.

Great Job Andrew...you had terrific run...When compared to LR I'm down 1% due to big loss in ebay way back in May'06..I'm waiting for your new picks :)
If fed reduces interest rates probably in March 07..which are the sectors to invest ?
