Everyone has opinions. They give you their two-cents worth. I'll give you more. One penny more. That's a cool 50% more than others. And that's wicked value.

Buying Update
I am waiting for some of the orders to go through. If they haven't, I'll revise the prices. So far, open orders are: gifi se ts osg me pxd sm
Last time I did this I got cheap on the calls and missed out on WTI & MVL.
Meanwhile, I have been waiting for a pullback to the 50dma on many stocks. I saw that yesterday.
GOOG is hard for me to gauge. I like their potential growth as search moves onto the phones and TV. And they have a cell phone play as well.
But that is future. Right now they are advertising dollar dependent. And the question is: as US spending dries up, will global spending make up the difference. I think so, for a while. Especially with the Olympics - this is the very first, truly web integrated Olympics imho.
The only problem with GOOG is that they suck as a portal. Yahoo may be too glitzy for some, but I prefer it for its simplicity.
Dear Andrew,
ReplyDeleteWhat is your stand on GOOG ?
Is it a good short candidate for this type of environment ? Things is slowing, should the advertisement be affected ?
thx
